On Saturday, September 5, the prestigious race—held this year as the Merrell Istanbul Ultra amidst the lush greenery of Kemerburgaz City Forest—once again brought sports enthusiasts and corporate teams together in the heart of nature. In an event marked by challenging and fiercely competitive races, the İSTGÜVEN Running Team achieved great success by delivering an outstanding performance and securing a spot on the podium.
Steadfastly maintaining the upward momentum achieved in previous years, our team took its place on the course with a robust roster of 34 athletes, all of whom are our colleagues. Competing in the 5K corporate category, our team finished third out of 12 corporate teams, earning a place on the podium and bringing the trophy home to İSTGÜVEN.
By completing the challenging course with a team average time of 01:25:01—significantly improving upon their previous results—our running team once again demonstrated the power of our company’s sports culture, determination, and team spirit.
Following the race, our General Manager, Mr. Murat Emrah Yıldırım, met with the athletes to congratulate all our colleagues who placed in the rankings and successfully completed the course. Expressing his satisfaction with the solidarity and performance displayed by the team during a motivational speech, our General Manager presented the athletes with specially prepared gifts.
We congratulate all our colleagues who strengthened our corporate unity and brought us this pride through their determination, and we wish them continued success.
